Well my weekend didn’t go as planned. But after a Saturday of work shes back to running strong. Nothing major. Luckily.

Well after 2 years of saving I just purchased an icon stage 4 kit for my tacoma method wheels and Toyo 285/70/r17 mud tires and a brute force fan bed cage you could say I’m a happy camper

Well let see... I ordered Nitro 4.88 gears w/ ARB lockers front & rear along with their twin air compressor and a diff breather kit for my 2017 Tacoma - looking forward to the install!

I went to Santa Cruz to go Mountain Biking and the roads were muddy from all the rain. I'm looking forward to a proper test. Weirdly enough I looked at the pic and it looks like it was shot with a potato. I uploaded through the OB1 App. The below was added using the desktop.

Rachel and I finally got around to getting the Sherpa Equipment Co cargo deck and drawer in our 3rd Gen 4Runner. Can’t wait to give it a test! Trying to think through how to pack/organize it now.

Got an email that my 50 inch Diode Dynamic Combo Lightbar has been shipped. Of course I’m only on Week 5 of my Gobi Rack Order, so the lightbar has some sitting time to do. But the coupon was great!

When I bought my truck previous installed a K&N CAI. I never liked that open design. I replaced it with a S&B CAI. Sounds and looks better. I also changed from oiled filter to dry filter.

I actually haven’t driven it around yet. When I was done it was time to help for dinner lol. But I can tell it sounds better standing in front of the engine bay, as if I can her the air induction going into engine better (more air flow) which the product does claim. From the back the exhaust has more of a nice rumble. Baram baram baram. I don’t have any planned to the trips to the store cause my wife went to Costco yesterday. Probably won’t leave the house for another week lol.

Since I installed the new intake yesterday everything else looked old and dirty. So got the rag out and did some touch up on the rest of the engine bay.

Installed and re-fabricated some new step rails. The manufacturer simply did not get the welds right in their fixture. Both rails in two different places were off by 3/64". Have a friend who has a friend... at Rev Limit Customs. Brought them in, test fit, cut, grind, massage and wala! Got them installed.
Spare tire finally showed up yesterday and new spare wheel arrived this morning.
Snorkel is next and I am nearing completion. But are they ever really complete?

Went to reinstall my skid plates. Tried using a torque wrench at the correct setting, ended up needing a helicoil -.- lesson learned from an ol 4th gen

Installed a ham unit in my rig, a TYT TH-7800. I couldn't wait for the weekend and did it in this 103 heat lol.

Built a wooden platform to ease storage & access to 10 gallons of H2O in 4 x 2.5 gallon cans. Used 3M spray adhesive and a staple gun to cover the wood with indoor/outdoor carpet (the darker color was oos).
Drilled and mounted a Yakima Megawarrior rack on the Yakima rail system:
First trip carrying traction boards, toilet, and a 3 gallon Rotopax on the other side of the boards. Also installed a Hothead roof liner. Modified the Hothead by drilling 2” holes in the backing to fit around the Yakima knob nuts.
