What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Ugh that sucks, man, been there. Some crackhead stole a bunch of stuff out of my rig while it was at the mechanic. Hope you didn't lose any good gear.

Just some small tools and tie down straps, and my iPhone mount - left a big hole in the vinyl where they ripped it off the dash. Oh and they managed to get my water jug out of the locked bracket on the roof! Lesson learned - not leaving anything in the rig overnight any more!

Had the day off and intended to solve the mystery of my non operating carb cooling fan. Instead found myself hunting down a replacement window pane and dealing with police and insurance reports :(

That Blows...

Did some body work, front right fender got pushed in and up a bit so the hood didn't match up any more and wouldn't latch.

Was it the safest and best solution? Maybe not, but it was fast, it worked surprisingly well, and my hood now latches. I only put a couple hundred lbs of force on it plus strategic percussive maintenance. And it is 95% back in place. The dent in the fender will get fixed (covered up) when my snorkel gets here.20180804_181343.jpeg

We have had a new clutch fitted to the trophy today ...nothing much wrong with the old one and the rig has only covered 80k , but a good friend of mine who run a cruiser shop has had a new Terrain tamer heavy duty gold clutch ... the kit come with
1,clutch plate
1 pressure plate
1 thrust bearing
1 input bearing
1 alignment tool

The cost is not cheap here in the uk £900 for the full kit ..but i love thing rig and she's worth it ..XVTPonVwQcuduDosPCfVKA.jpg
