What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Removed front grill, radiator cover/shroud and gave the radiator a really good cleaning. Had some high temps while cruising the Black Hills last weekend. Plenty of mud stuck in there. From the variety of colors,it's from a few different trips. Hard to get in there without actually removing stuff. I might have to look into one of those radiator genies. Now that the grill is off, I may throw a fresh coat of paint on as it is showing some wear.... sounds like a tomorrow project.

Dex-cool coolant flush, balanced tire along with rotation . Ready for another trip! Needs a wash though...lol

Over the last two weekends I installed a 2" OME lift on my 2007 Tacoma. It was the first time I have done any work with the suspension on the truck (or any vehicle for that matter). It had worn out original front struts, original rear shocks and the Toyota recall replacement leaf springs. It was sagging a bunch under the weight of my RTT.

I am beyond amazed at what a difference this install made. I should have done this sooner.

Took the weekend installing the AEV 2.5" lift retiring my Teraflex puck. I really liked how the leveling kit adds a bit of height and still preserving the factory ride. I ran the puck setup on the trails and several overland trips so it paid its due, but

a) i need a better suspension lift for my overland trips. The puck/stock suspension sags quite so the skid plates have seen lots of action.
b) My wife says I need 35s! They like them bigger, lol. Be careful what you ask for, I can't wait to see her climb the Jeep once i get 35s on it.

Took it out for a test drive and I forgot to reconnect the track bar. That was not a good experience!

I need to take some tylenol now -- and i really need some power tools I'm getting too old for this.

Making progress on my OBA and hot water system. Made this 2" recessed panel out of aluminum bar and aluminum square tube

That panel has a garden hose thread quick connect (for input), an anderson power pole connector for remote water pump, and an air fitting (output)
The idea is that I can hook the roof rack tank up, or hook up a remote water pump sourced from a lake, river, etc (that project tbd)

A similar panel is going on the other side of the truck. It will have: dual needle air gauge, air regulator, air output, thermostatic mixing valve for water, and water spigot + garden hose quick connect
