Drove down to MULE Expedition Outfitters and picked up one of these sweet tow points that attach to the rear receiver....

I had a Plain Jane one but when I saw this -- I knew it needed to be on the rig!! Of course I noticed an immediate increase in horsepower AND mileage!! :astonished:

Hope to get out tomorrow if the weather holds with the drone.....:grinning:

Have you taken the Suburban out to Calico or Johnson Valley?

Yes, both! I've been to the last 2 King of the Hammers and shooting a few times besides... we do a boy scouts camp at calico every other year. I love both places!

We camped down Bessemer mine Rd out near soggy dry lake... what a nightmare! It was like 30 minutes one way to get to Boone rd. And another 15 to get any of the runs. Never again! My friends wanted to avoid the crowds but c'mon!

We're looking forward to going every year from now on.

We're there many or any "OB Basecamps" out there?
