• Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Nice, first I’ve heard of it. We’ve got plans already, but am going to try and get out of them. Would be interested in exploring the area a bit. I’ve been mostly focused on NC, but have been thinking about heading up to VA more.

That's what I'm afraid would happen to me!

Me: honey, be outside for like 10 mins to put the OB badges on

*45 mins later*

Wife steps outside....."what are you doing now??!"

Me: *stops rinsing off the roof*
ummmm.... I'll be done in about 15 mins

*45 mins later*

Wife:. What the h3ll are all the seats doing on the grass???!!!! You said 15 mins 45 mins ago!!

Me: ummmm.....I found a little bit of dirt inside the X...?

Hello all. Got some updates to the rig and going to stretch her legs over thanksgiving. Tray mountain, and some others to get some mud on the tires.

Welcome Rubyredfozzy! I'm across the river from you in Auburn. We need to do a local meetup - maybe we can get some OB'ers and/or Peachstate Overland/Alabama Overland people together somewhere between you and me...
Id love to. I deploy to afghanistan very soon but id love to go out and meet up some time.

Hey @Cully74 !

Welcome to the group. Glad to have you here! If you want to find out what's happening in your local area, you can always go to the Overland Rally Point and See what events are happening around you!

Hello, from Auburn, Alabama. I'm new (again) to SE Alabama, and am scouting places for us overlanders to go in Alabama. We have some documented trails around Birmingham, and up north, but I believe there's way more to map out. Originally from NE Georgia, I cut my teeth offroading/overlanding on N. Ga's wonderful fire service roads. I hope to be up there soon again, and hope to meet some of y'all as well.
