Picked up a high lift today for 30 bucks.
Works great and fits perfectly under the rear seat :)

Well jeep has been put on the back burner now that I got my 91 firebird up and running. Definelty ain't my jeep but get better mileage and is more fun to drive on the road as of lately due to a sudden onset of death wobble lol

And a stock to compare all the other pics too.

Passenger side is done hope to tackle the driver tomorrow. And then pay day plan to do front control arm bushings.
And hopefully that cure my deathwobble.

Well I officially hate this thing....I miss my trucks they were so much more reliable then this turd.
Anyways finally able to get some flex pics

Nothing to crazy but not bad for a 2" lift with 31.5s and sway bar still connected.

And for those interested why I hate this thing.
Still has death wobble (not really a big deal just frustrating since I plan on lifting it next year I don't want to spend money on all new shit just to turn around and replace it.)
And has a stupid idle issue that I can't track down.
Once it warms up it and when coming to a stop it drops to like 300-400 rpm while in gear and wants to die.
Things that have been done
Tps, iac, crank sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel rail pressure check only things left to change are the pcm and the map sensor both stupid expensive and hard to get to. Thinking about trading it in and getting a 2nd Gen ram 1500 single cab short bed and building that instead......

Man I know how you feel...

After my success' at Redbird this weekend, I was feeling good on the way home. For some reason my cruise control stopped working. Then after four hours of driving, about an hour from my house, all of the gauges quit. I thought the motor had died so I pulled to the shoulder. I heard the motor running so I plugged in my OBDII adapter. All of the indicators were in the green, so I continued on. I stopped about 12 miles from my home to gas up, and when I went to restart, the security key was lit an It wouldn't start! after messing with the wiring harness, battery and fuses for about it hour, it started up, I quick, jumped in and started to roll, only to find it was starting in 4th gear. No automatic shifting. I got it home and spent all of the next day locked out by the security system again. Finally got it running Monday but with a fast idle and surging, posting P0121 and P0123 codes. Also noted that the throttle indicator from the OBDII was showing 80% throttle! Changed the TPS. No difference. On the way home from work yesterday, I noticed that if I held the cruise control on/off button in, the surging went away and the throttle showed a normal response on the OBDII. Checked over the harness last night and found nothing. Tonight or this weekend I am going to remove the PCM connectors to look for corrosion.

Besides changing the TPS I have also put on new battery connectors and cleaned and Kopr-Shielded all of the bonded ground points (four found under the hood so far).

Yikes...seems like these things are electrical gremlin magnets lol

I'll let you know what I find.

I found at least two posts online where cleaning the PCM connectors on the module solved either a TPS problem or Cruise Control problem.

I had my wife watch the throttle indicator last night while I raised all kinds of havoc with the harness. Din't move hardly at all. To get at the PCM I have to remoe the TCM and its bracket and the coolant overflow reservoir. Hopefully I find green pins...

It's not bad to get to honestly. I had mine out in under 10 minutes when I ran the power wire for my amp through the grommet behind it.

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body too? Or even just some sea foam in it. I'd check the spark plug gaps too just in case. That's all pretty cheap and easy to do.

The cruse is very common. Check the vacuum fittings for that. The main module is under the passenger headlight.

Yep cleaned the tb when I replaced the iac and tps. Spark plugs were changed about 6k ago so they should be good it was doing this before I changed the plugs too.
But I'll check em

I took a look last night. I thought I could slide it out from behind the reservoir, but I couldn't find the nut/stud combination for the bottom, in the wheel well. Also not sure the wires for the lower harness will allow me to pull it up that high. Decided I needed more time to research and disassemble.

Everything I found on the vacuum and cruise issue, the drivers had a cruise light but it wouldn't engage. My cruise light isn't turning on at all, though it worked on the way up on Friday. Also, holding the button has a direct affect on TPS voltage. I measured at the TPS connector and at idle it is .75v, yet the PCM thinks it is 80% throttle. If I hold the Cruise ON/OFF button in it goes to 13% throttle. I am pretty sure I have some voltage bleed between the cruise button supply and either TPS sig or TPS return.

I had a similar issue that end up being a battery cell dead. Long story short don't trust Advanced Auto to check the battery sometimes those guys are space cases.
I thought it was a throttle issue, or fuel pump going bad, would idle low and try to die out at lights, and in park.
New battery fixed it. I'm sure you've checked all the basics first, but for a wannabe mechanic like myself I wasted a lot of time chasing dead ends.
might want to look into 02 sensor also.

Love to see other WJs on here so hopefully it all works out for you.

Yea I just had the battery replaced under warrranty. I'm really leaning towards a pcm
