Team, for anyone unfamiliar with Rainbow Falls, follow the link below to learn a little more. Don't let the medium difficulty scare you away from this trail. A stock SUV can do this. There are also multiple off shoots on this trail if we decide to take an easier path.

Rainbow Falls
sounds good, thanks for the update.

OK just read all the updates and I get it. That's a long drive from Denver but I'll try to make it.

Still a HAM newb but any particular comms channel to use before the 9:00 start? I’ll probably monitor the Colorado Connection KB0VJJ 145.130 unless someone says otherwise.

Let’s definitely get it setup then! I one I’d like to go up!
I will see if I can get a Rally Point and thread started this weekend. I unfortunately won't be able to make the meeting tomorrow, so if you want to get some input on hit tomorrow that would be awesome. You guys have fun tomorrow.

I will be also leaving from Denver. It might be late but want to meet somewhere and then go?

When you get in closer, go to 146.460 per the RP comms plan. The Colorado Connection depends on your being to able to hit a repeater for trans and receive. 146.460 will be simplex/direct.

Copy that. Figured my handheld wouldn’t reach too far until maybe around woodland park. Thx!

Don't look for me guys. I'm not even out of bed yet. [emoji16].

Donna texted and said she may be a little late.

Yep! Go ahead and request. It’s pretty quick
It took me a minute to figure out who I needed to send the request to. Thank you for putting this trip together, it took me 2 hours to get to the meeting point but I would do it again. it was nice meeting everybody, looking forward to the next one.

Thanks everyone for coming out today. We got a good taste of scrapes, snow, switchbacks, and some recovery time. I’d say it was a pretty good day!

Big thanks to @FR33DOM for spotting today. Some of those corners were a little hairy
Yes Sir! No problem and you did great leading the group today! Had a blast!
