Two weekends ago we went to la Huasteca Potosina...
It was a more sightseeing than offroading trip, but as we always do, we wanted some mud...

19 vehicles on the expedition, only 5 completed the mud stuff the other 14 did a U turn...

So: 5 days, almost 1000 miles, lots of adventures and pictures:

It's been a while since my last post, so here are some updates:
  • OverlanderMexico is a new project with @Abrahan Perez and @Israel Davalos it was born after we met @Jeepsies here in México!
  • I bought a Smittybilt Overlander XL... a little too big for me, but the price difference between the small and the XL was only 100 bucks shipped to México City... So it wasn't difficult to decide.
  • We are planning a trip to baja on August...
  • Already paid 4.88 gears for the taco!
Here are some pictures!

Had a wonderful time with this crew. Definitely exemplified the core values of Overland Bound.

We’ll be in Canada in August, but I’d encourage anyone who can make it to connect with them for Baja!

And well, my latest trip, was for the WRC here in México...

It's in the state of Guanajuato, a beautiful state with a lot of culture, great views and awesome trails!
The only problem was, that when I arrived to the Super Stage (the one that takes place on an enclosed circuit) I broke one of the front struts... yup, I made a mod because I had to change the bushings every 6-8 months...

Lucky for me, it happened entering the parking lot and not on the highway, so I called the nearest autozone, and by luck (again) they had one over there, so the next morning I took a cab and bought it... changed it, and 2 hours later went to Guanajuanto City, had a walk and afterwards met with a local offroading group...

Then, WRC was cancelled due COVID-19... so we went camping and returned the next day to Mexico City... Eventhough everything that happened, it was a great trip, remembered that you have to bring your tools ALWAYS!

When you abuse your truck as we do, you never know when it's going to fail...

here are some pics!
