Next year will be our fifth MidEurope Spring Meetup. So, it's a bit of an anniversary. That's great!

The meetup will take place from 8th to 10th May 2026. For details and registration please refer to information in the Rally Point.

We now have 14 rigs and around 20 people signed up for the Spring Meetup. That´s good news and means it can go ahead. That's great. The place is booked and I will send everyone who has RSVPed so far the details of the attendance fee via forum message in the first few days of the new year.

I hope that a few more people will sign up so that we can have a really nice big group again.

I look forward to seeing you all in the spring.

Thanks Bjoern, I will look into the registration details. Any tips for Sardinia? I understand that wild camping is official not permitted, but might be accepted in some areas? Do you have any recommendations for camps, routs, etc?

Yes, wild camping is not allowed, that's correct. I have added many POIs in Sardinia to the OB map, feel free to take a look.

Our Spring Meetup is just under two weeks away. I’m really looking forward to it. Everyone who signed up received a message from me yesterday with all the important details, including directions. I wish everyone a safe trip to the meetup and see you the weekend after next!

I hope everyone made it home safely, or is still enjoying a great trip after this amazing weekend.

A great meetup with members from across Europe and the US lies behind aus. Great talks around the campfire with like-minded people and educational workshops.

Member with the longest distance to the meetup of about 1,600kms/ 1,000 miles is Magnus from Norway @Dessmo . Amazing. Thank you for joining us.

And special thanks to John @JnS_Cattle for volunteering and presenting and giving interesting insights during the round table talk and workshop sesssion.

Thank you also for all the donations to the ASB Wünschewagen project for this worthy cause. I transferred the money to the ASB today.

I will try to rent the site again for next year. The public holidays are a bit differently next year, so we would have to choose either a weekend in April or one in the second half of May. I'm leaning toward May, since we'll definitely have better weather then and many people will be able to combine it with a trip. I will talk to the site manager in the next few days and see when the site would be available.
