The 'It is Official Overland Expo East' thread

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Very cool rig! I had to grab a picture when I was walking around taking pictures in the low morning light.

The lights worked fine but I had an issue with one of the mounts. I learned that I need to add another single random tool to my kit since the Allen wrenches I carry don’t fit in the space available. With the help of @CFTAdventures I was able to get it straightened out and tightened back down.

@Wawa Skittletits anytime!.....maybe it’s time for a harbor freight one time purchase trip
Since I’d hate to rob one of my sets of a single Allen wrench I referred to my collection of baby furniture/pottery barn parts. Sure enough I found one the right size. Score one for the pack rat haha.

SO jelly of that troopy. Love that thing.

I'm currently investigating the possibility of getting my grubby mits on a milsurp swiss G-Wagen. A company in Quebec imports them. Not likely to happen for me, but one can dream.
