Like you photos of the eastern section. Three of us are planning to complete the northwestern section of the TAT Beginning May 10th, 2019 from Emery,, UT. AS we are beginning our drive from Iowa May 8th , and hitting trails on May 10th. We beleive this will include 1,500 miles of back country and off road trails. We down loaded the GPS route from kevingps.com. Has anyone else used these maps?

below are the three units goning on the trail. View attachment 94016
You guys are going to have a kickass time out there. We are leaving OK tomorrow morning and heading into NM up into CO to the Great sand Dunes National Park. Stoked for a new state. OK gets mind numbing after 4 days on those long roads. But the sunsets are phenomenal. Good luck out there!

I’m heading back out to run the Colorado and Utah part in June if anyone wants to tag along. I try to run a couple states every year
We will most likely have to skip loads of the CO TAT section. Would be totally down for a summer run however. Ouray and surrounding passes.

Been following the fun! Love it!

Hope to see you both at OE West, and maybe in my backyard when you come to CA-
We will be in Southern CA in a few weeks. Very excited to check out the beauty CA offers. Would definitely enjoy meeting up if we have the time.

Appreciate you sharing the adventure. You guys look like your having a blast!

Your rig changes up a bit with each photo session, is that due to the experiences? Just trying different things?

Well we are a bit behind on posting NM and CO videos. We had our rear fenders ripped off in the muddy trails coming up from NM. Only real change besides the car wash and stickers. We are lovin it so far! Epic times! Thanks for watching.

Whats up guys!

My girl friend and I will be attempting the 'Trans American Trail' on April 1st 2019 in our black 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 6-speed.

We have branded ourselves and now have our own You Tube channel up and running. The name of the channel is Nikko and Lee. Feel free to subscribe to follow our adventure across the United States. I will be following Sam C's Official TAT GPS maps from my GAIA GPS Setup. I have downloaded the 'TAT Atlantic Spur' and the 'TAT bundle pack'. I have also mapped out our routes on paper maps with pinned locations along our route for Gas and Food. We are both ready for the long adventure and ready to document our travels for you guys to watch!

We will be attending Overland Expo West 2019, May 17-19th after riding MOAB, UT for a day. If any of you would like to ride MOAB with me a few days prior to Overland Expo West 2019 just shoot me a PM and we will establish a meeting spot and time once we arrive in UT. The same goes to those interested in convoying to Flagstaff, AZ for Overland Expo West 2019 from Utah.

If you guys have any tips or suggestions for us please feel free to provide detailed information below. I have been trying to reach out to others who have attempted the entire TAT for their advice and suggestions. Other than that we feel prepared enough to endure this extended trip across the elements and are excited to share some kickass content with you guys! Hope to see some of you guys out there on the Trail!

Awesome pictures and you tube channel. We will be in the area there in 2 weeks for 10 days. I’m thinking of going straight to Utah since most of the TAT is closed in Colorado. If y’all are still in the area maybe we could meet up and ride together. Keep the pics and videos coming. Safe travels!

We finished the entire Trans America Trail form coast to coast in our 2017 JKU Wrangler 6 speed. Thanks to every one who tuned into the channel. In total we traversed North America in 59 Days covering 9,000 miles of off road terrain, with a stop in Flagstaff for a week and Little Rock for 3 days. Sleeping in the Jeep was great and we enjoyed the savings long term without paying for loads of motels. We had a blast and would recommend it to any one thinking about talking the TAT. (We would suggest leaving May or later instead of April since there was still loads of Snow in the rockies and parts of Oregon.) --- Tune into our youtube channel (NIkko and Lee) If you have yet to. We documented our entire trip from coast to coast on the TAT in our Jeep.) Feel free to shoot me any msg DM or comment below if you guys have any questions. Thanks guys.

** WIll be posting up more pics here once I get better WiFi connection**
