One of these days I am going to manage to make it on your trips. Right now I am absolutely buried in projects that I can't take time away from.

Lincoln School opened in 1914.

Motor runs good. Has some minor noise that I am trying to track down. I am hoping it is a exhaust leak. Still buring some oil, but not as much this trip than last so hope that is curing itself too.

It is easy to do. I did it for years before I realized life is passing me by. Many of these trips I have done in the last few years have been on the list of places to see for over 30 years. If I did not stop and see them now I would nver make it...

Starting a new video series call UNCUT. I did a trial run release last week and it has been very successful so I will be releasing more UNCUT videos in the future. If you are subscribed to my YouTube Channel you might have seen this one already. I did not really promote it till I could get a feel for if it would be received well or not.

I take a lot of video at times, often letting the dash camera run if things look like they may become interesting on the trail. In most cases I use very little of this footage in my productions. Often though, they would make a story inside a story. It always seemed to me to be a waste of good film footage. I got to thinking that maybe these small segments of the journey may still be interesting to some viewers, so why leave it on the floor? So "uncut" was born. So I hope "uncut" videos will bring more of the thrill of being out with us, because that is what it is all about.

This "Uncut" is a continuous run of the dash cam coming down into a canyon and crossing the river at the bottom.This is a particularly good run showing events as they unfold in real time. In a production video I would use only a small fraction of the video captured in this nearly 30 minute long video. This video was captured on SW Idaho Overlanding's joint trip out into the deep desert with COYOTE WORKS. Be sure to check out COYOTE WORKS

Hopefully it is just rings seating in. Takes a few hundred miles to accomplish that. This trip certainly should have helped.

I know I am missing out on a bunch of things with the choices I am currently making, but I also know that what I am doing is an investment in the future. Everything is a matter of trade-offs. One of these days...
 
SW Idaho Overlanding is attending another MORDOR adventure. We have attended this gathering for a few years now. Follow us as we venture back to Mordor for a 4 day adventure. Joining us is Iroh the pup on his first adventure.

Day 2. This episode we hike the Wood Road. This is a road that was used to access juniper trees that where growing in the lava flows for fence posts over a hundred years ago. Too bad you can not drive it anymore...

 
I've just come across you videos and here on OB. I live in Rupert and am always looking for a great adventure. I joined a local 4x4 group but they seem more interested in finding a giant rock to climb over vs a great trail and interesting scenery. We would love to tag along on some of your trips if that's alllowed. Messege us here and we'll exchange info.

It was! We met up with Donald from softroadingthewest on our last night out. It just worked out that we were in the same area at the same time. Small world. Coyote Works and I with some others had already been out 3 days in the deep deserts of Oregon, Nevada and Idaho. 257 miles of rough dirt, mud, rock, two track roads. Often not moving faster than 5 mph. Made for long days on the trails. My videos of this trip should be coming out in a week or two.

You always seem to find the rockiest, roughest road you can George. Not that I'm complaining. That reminds me, I need to look into some new shocks. And leaf springs.

Coyote Tracks Day 1 Part 1 is up. Yes part 1! These days where long days on the trail. By time I was finished with day 1 it was over 40 minutes long. I didn't want to bore people (some can barely make it to 10 minutes) so I will be splitting this series into two part days. The good news is that I am going to try and post 1 episode up a week for this trip and the Ruby trip (which also had long days).
