So, we wound up with four trucks, and the ascent was beautiful: today's clouds and marine layer broke up and we enjoyed streaming sunshine on the trail. I realized I'd cut it a little close with the 4pm muster/meet and so I kept a 10mph pace up the hill. We made it in time to park, get out and congratulate each other as we watched the sun descend into the Pacific, 20 miles away.
I met some great guys, Blaine, Nick, Dave, and my son came along with our dog.
