Pooping while off roading. I know, not a popular topic but one that needs to be addressed more and more. Aaron Copland from Thunder Box will talk about portable toilet devices and why you need one so badly.
We need to eliminate white flowers from the landscape, at one time they almost got the Rubicon closed. Now they are threading the Dedeckera Canyon in Death Valley.

Annual Crawdad Boil at Richardson Lake.
This is a traditional southern boil. We will have two batches, one milder than the traditional spicy. The dinner will be Saturday, September 17, 2022; approximately 1600 hrs.
Menu; Crawdads, andouille sausage, crab, corn and more. The rest of the fixins will be brought by Chef Klinton Kehoe. All the crawdads are caught in Richardson Lake between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, using traps provided by Tom White.
Richardson is just off the Mckinney Rubicon Trail. OB rating of 3, GPX file to be provided to those to RSVP they are coming.
A Total of 20 rigs will be allowed. You will need to provide your own meals, except for the crawdad dinner. RSVP by email SierraFoothillsOverlanders@gmail.com with the total number of people. We need an accurate RSVP in order to get the correct amount of crab. The cost at the last boil was $10/person, this year's cost will probably be a bit higher. Please bring cash.
Camp is next to Richardson Lake, this dispersed camping area is also used by hikers traveling the Pacific Crest Trail. We need to get a good number of rigs up to the lake on Thursday September 15 to reserve enough space for everyone. Dave Dingal will coordinate the caravan up to the lake.

No formal presentation or educational items are planned but we will be talking about next year's training and trips, so bring your ideas.
