I am actually trying to decide between buying a bumper or tow hooks for my XJ right now. I NEED front recovery points badly... lol I am leaning more towards the recovery hooks from a cost standpoint, plus I will more than likely not ever put a winch on.

Every 4x4 I own has a winch lol

Recovery points... hmm on a unibody strength would be in surface area, like the bumper brackets are and frame stiffeners are for xj... plate mostly.

This is the one I am looking at, it connects both sides of the Unibody for more strength..
