Not my rig but I was going through some of my old photos and scanning them and came across theses photos from when I was deployed to East Timor with the Australian Army.

In our Area of Operations we had caught up with some soldiers from Singapore and they took us for a ride in their off road patrol vehicles - had an absolute blast and a bit of fun / relaxation for a couple of hours.

When it was my turn to drive the Singaporean soldier with us in our vehicle kept saying 'faster, faster' - I was going as fast as I could but I was laughing too much to go any faster.

Good day to be out for a trail run however the area is still impacted by the severe floods from up and down the Australian East coast.
Photos taken from the Canberra and NSW area.

Nice!

I’m considering going back to a Troopy (with Hercules conversion) for full-time travel but we don’t get it on the V8 here (which is soooo stupid considering the 76, 79’s come in the V8). I don’t know if I can ever get used to that 1HZ motor…

My new to me
2009 78 series troopy
V8 turbo diesel

Absolutely in love!

Ahhh that’s so annoying, the V8 is such a pleaser to drive mate!
We are looking at the Hercules conversion too, hopefully next year if all goes well!
Got the alu cab 270 awning going on in a week and a half which is exciting :)
