So it's $10 for Redbird per day. What's the charge for the camp site? I might have a tent and worse case camp in the Tahoe.

Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

If I go, I would leave Friday morning. I'm notorious for not having a schedule, so I probably couldn't tell you on Thursday night!
As far as where, I don't care. I'm more concerned about getting my ass out of my tent in the morning, having not slept in one for 22 years...

Lol, me too. It's been since my Army days that I've been in a tent. My wife is not fond of camping. So I have to purchase an air mattress, portable fan, etc. so she'll be somewhat happy. I'm fine with Redbird. If we're not comfortable with the trail, we'll pick a different one. At least we can say we've been there, tried that.

@jordanbrooks , did you design you're Indiana Overland sticker? If so, any chance of a design for the OB Redbird meet up and trail run?

I know there are a couple undecided. Plus I have one coming from work who isn't on the forum yet. We also have three months so hopefully we'll attract new members to join in the fun. I'm hoping for ten rigs. I think that would be a good number.

I will be trying to attend and quite possibly may have a couple other rigs along with me if it shakes out right.
Make sure you check some of the trails and do not follow their guidelines explicitly. I walked a bit down a couple trails and passed even though they looked good at the start. It is one of those places that once on a trail...you may not be able to turn around since they are tighter than most. They have some bypasses but not as plentiful as Badlands. Ask around and people there can likely offer advice.
I am sure you can wheel a stock-ish rig all day and have fun, but some of the "moderate" stuff we did was a bit more than i would call moderate.
There is a big-ass hill climb that you can watch some people attempt. Couple hundred feet and multiple routes up and down.
Also if someone wants to flex and test there is a V notch I have seen done by a bunch of jeeps
