Would anyone in the group be interested in a multi day kayaking trip down the Colorado River? I'm putting together a trip in late May and wanted to gauge interest.

I would, but don't have a kayak. Also, for the next several weeks, I can't spend an entire day away, let alone several, until the chicks/ducklings are grown enough to take care of themselves.

No, you did not miss anything. The start/stop dates on the Rally Point have never worked right. Just remember it's always the 1st Saturday of each month and you will be good.
That said, we will be meeting at the bridge location on May 7 @ 0900.

Good time today at the rally point. Looking forward to the July meet as I will in business travel in June.

Recommend we pick one rally in the future to do some or all of the Hill Country Back country route - as long as there is at least one water crossing.

So the inevitable question: what are some thoughts on new small pickups coming back to the US/NA market? I feel like it would be a great weekend overlanding rig. Haven’t seen anything about departure, approach, or break over angles. I do know it’s being offered with Ford’s FX4 off road package...
