All,
I have put this together as I was having issues with tyre and wheel sizes for the Land Rover LR4 and couldn't understand why the LR3 18" ET53 couldn't fit my LR4 when the 19" ET53 wheel is the same size offset. Well after all of this I understand more about offset and the wheels but i still can not understand why the LR3 ET53 can not fit the LR4. What i need is the picture of the wheel stamp markings on the back of the wheel to understand more.

However the LR4 Lift kit from Johnsonrods will allow me to lift the vehicle and allow me to fit 18" PD1881 IN OFFSET - ET44 TO SUIT THE LR 4 DISCOVERY and from what I see in the chart I will not have to do any modifications.

I see this is an old post with zero replies so I wanted to say thank you for the time you spent on this. I recently got new tires and they are metric so I was having to figure out what they are in inches and your post explained a lot. Also my kids and their friends are talking about wheels with offset and this also covered that. Good info...
