Ram 1500 Overland Build

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Beautiful truck man!! I love the mineral grey on these rams so much!! Here's my old baby

03 1500 hemi with 6" bds lift on 35s in this pic. Sold it like an idiot before I could put the 37s on it.

I would love to go to the Rally but I can't afford it since I just spent pretty much all my money on the suspension upgrade (hopefully it's worth it). I actually proposed to my fiancée in the gazebo in the middle of Leavenworth and we stayed there. And her dad proposed to her mom in Leavenworth 20+ years ago too!
The rally is not cheap. I'm going for the first time this year. I'm kind of skeptical if it's worth the family price, but at least if I feel that it's not there's a lot to do in Leavenworth and it's not that far from home.

@jordanbrooks Thanks! it's getting to be where I want it, I have this ultimate dream build that I could ever afford planned out so I'm just doing the stuff I can afford haha.

@roamingtimber Yea I'll bet it's pretty awesome since it's so popular and even if it's not it's another reason to get outside and away from the desk. And like you said there's so much to do and there are a ton other places you can explore. I am doing a 10-day camping road trip through WA and I made sure we are going through Leavenworth.

Awesome. Have any pictures of how the truck sits now with the new Coilovers? Looks like a quality suspension setup.

Nice to see the forum is back up and working! (knock on wood) I was able to go out and get some pictures. The height hasn't changed much from the Bilsteins, but I like a little rake so I left about an inch of difference between the front and back. I'm really looking forward to my camping trip the end of the week so I can really test the off-road performance of everything. I also removed the bottom air dam for better approach angles (ended up almost cutting the tip of my pinky off in the process).View attachment 2650 View attachment 2651 View attachment 2652 View attachment 2653 View attachment 2654 View attachment 2655 View attachment 2656 View attachment 2649

Love what you are doing to you truck. I have an '07 Ram Quad Cab that I picked up in January and I am looking forward to building it. It will be my first full size build, my last was a Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ on 6.5" lift.
