That specific roof rack I would Not recommend, it bowed down in the middle eventually scraping my hard top.

Oh, I didn't expect to hear that ... Maybe you get what you pay for ... :-(

But to be specific: did the frame bow, or the slats in the middle? I was thinking to use the roof rack for lighter stuff in duffel bags, such as the awning for my RTT, or a bag with the Exped mega mat in it.

Do you think it will hold a small weight without bending?

I never carried Anything on it and I ended up with a scratched up roof.

Swapped out the hood hinge mounted 30 inch bar with a low profile 50 inch light bar.

Two questions on #6. First what radios are you using? Second, understanding that bigger is better for antennas, how is this GMRS antenna working for you?
the grms stubby works fine, many Jeep friends running the same one.

Added Core4x4 adjustable control arms and a rough country 3.5 inch lift.

Nice looking truck. The Gladiator to me needs a rack or a bed cap to look proportional.

Curious, does the instruction with the cap tell you if the driving rating is on road vs off road? Looked at their site and they mention nothing on roof weight limits

The cap is rated at 1000lbs static, I think it was 600 dynamic. so its pretty solid.
