Pressure canned meals

I have canned Ground beef, ham and beans, Meatloaf, and soups. They hold up well when stored in cool dry and dark area.

I have not tried them, but have heard they do a good job. The ones I looked at cost more than I would care to pay.
Awesome idea but question I have is what about the weight of the glass jars & then you have to haul them around. I could see for a day or 2 trip but if your going for a week or so seems like a lot of extra weight to lug around till you get home. Don’t mean to rain on your parade just curious ?
The few ounces of extra weight completely outweigh the benefit of having canned meat for quick hearty meals.

Brisket day! I trimmed 5.5lbs of fat from this one before I sprinkled on the rub and threw it on. I’ll let y’all know how it turns out.

Looks like that is going to be amazing! Keep that fat around, though. Great for all kinds of things from gravy to flavoring other leaner meets like game.

I didn’t keep the fat, we don’t make a lot of gravy, but I am going to start making sausages again. That’s a good idea. Thank you for that, @Matt Hixson
