Yes i think everybody should bring something, whether drinks/food or camping gear. That would make it a lot easier for all of us.

I also agree with Valentin that everyone should bring his own stuff and if we want to we can go and buy something and cook together or whatever.
I'm still into a static meeting, wherever you may want even the Röhn is a really nice idea and a backroads tour can be done at the Edersee or the Röhn with some nice scenery, so I'm just fine.

I agree to that as well. Think we shouldnt do a tour. Just make it a static tour.
Proposal;
1. First Aid snupperkurs.
2. First Aid kit.
3. Story telling with or without pictures
4. Navigation comparing without judging who has the best.
5. Cook workshop. We could do some dutch oven recepies and make some stuff we learned from Jase from All4Adventure (Australia)
Maybe we can ask some smaller overlanding/4x4/travel companies to attend with their products.
Lets make a team that will work out the details.

Ok, so first thing we should do is get a date and create a rally point so everyone in the region is getting noticed.
We get a glimpse of how many people will try to meet that will help with the location and everything else.

Robert, that a great idea! which companies are in Your mind ? About the Date for our meetup, i think we we should ask at the campground when they can do the event.

No companies in mind much. But hey, we can go out and shop.
Think we shouldfirst get at least 5 people "together" who are willing to do some work in this.
So getting yours and Maze things in row;
1. Ask the campground when? Think it should be max 20 rigs/tents/whatever
2. Create a Rally point
3. go shopping for some small companies
4. Find some peeople who are willing to give workshops.

hey guys, I´m new on OB but experienced in offroading.
A meet up would be great! I can´t promise that I´m available 2019, cause of work but if, I will join for sure!

No not really, I don't ask before Christmas nearly everything is closed at the moment and I go check out some stuff after Christmas, we will see what happens

which campsite do we like the best? I would suggest to do the same campsite as Offroad hoch2 . They do understand Overlanders

Ah.. Hmm these guys are a bit strange... Tried to take part in anything but I always read something after it happened... No idea what they are doing but it's nearly in my backyard, so I give them a call and see what they say

Dies wurde das erste treffen von uns sein in Europa. Das bedeutet es konnen zehn leute kommen, aber auch hunderd.
Wir wissen es einfach nicht.
Wie dem auch sei, die art von campen wird ungefahr gleich sein wie bei Offroadhoch2 nur warscheinlich weniger laster aber dafur mehr Jeeps usw.
Konnen Sie mir sagen ob Ostern, oder andere wochenende fur sie ok sind das wir kommen konnen? Wir sind im moment in die untersuchingsfase.

Hey guys I want to kick off this Thread again since I love the Idea of a Mid Europe Meetup.
Also I want to throw in the Idea of Meeting up at the Season Opening of Genesis Import. It's on 17. March an there are many other Overlanders coming.
But Freizeitpark Vulkan would also be nice.
The average German isn't spontaneous so having a date asap is crucial [emoji23]
