Overland/ Outdoor Reading and Mags?

A few months ago, my subscription had ended for OutdoorX4 magazine. I had not realized this until just recently be it that the magazine is sent every other month. Non the less, my question is what other Outdoor/ Overlanding mags are other people reading? I enjoy OutdoorX4, the quality of a magazine itself and the articles are pretty good in my novice opinion. I also have read a copy of Tread magazine before but I thought the cost for subscription was a little high for just 6 issues. I'd love any other suggestions!

Also other then magazines, is there any other outdoor/camping books out there worth recommending?

I used to read Overland Journal, it's a nice magazine, but it is spendy. I'm thinking about subscribing again, but who knows.

As far as books specifically related to overlanding, there's the VDEG (Vehicle Dependent Expedition Guide), I just picked one up related to traveling in the US and Canada; The Essential Guide to Overland Travel in the United States and Canada. A couple years ago I picked another one up on Amazon, but that seemed more geared towards world travel.
