One our favorites is to put a pile of saurkraut on a piece of tinfoil, then add a brat and any veggies you want. We use pearl onions, cherry tomatos, sliced peppers, carrots, baby potatos. Wrap everything up in a double layer of foil, then cook 30-40 minutes over the fire or coals. The juice from the kraut steams all the veggies and brat. Plus you get a big pile of kraut, yummy.
