Hello folks,

This year, as there are way more members in europe as last year we would like to meet up at the Expo at Bad Kissingen.
This will be from the 15th till the 18th of June.

We will be there from the wednessday morning till Sunday afternoon.

Almost a 6 hour drive.. not that nuts.. Got a lot planned for this summer though so dno if this year is an option.. But will keep it in mind! looks cool..

Didn't know Europe did expo's like this.
 
Almost? You mean just!!! a 6 hours drive, hahaha. Same here, but it absolutely worth it.
 
So? Just grab a rucksack, a little tent and such and fly over.
It wil lbe great.

I wanted to go there. But for me the timing is always auwfull. I'll try to get some deal at home to see if i can come over.
 
Anyone else thinking of going? Is it just Mike, Robert, Christian and myself thinking of going. Do you three have plan to camp together or just meet somewhere in the show? I look forward to meeting more overland bound members, as I have only meet one already.

We are going from Tuesday evening to Sunday, and will make a camp. Point is, it will be crowded, so I dont know how long I can hold the spot big enough to let others camp.
But we will try to keep enough space so we can spend the evenings and parts of the day together at our place for BBQ and good talks.
 
Sounds good Robert. Be aware of camp area will not open earlier than wednesday afternoon, but I guess you know.
Hope to meet some OB members there.

Officially you are right, but believe me, there are some who arrive on the Saturday and Sunday already. So, we will manage Tuesday late in the evening. Think we will arrive around midnight. It is a long way with a trailer behind it.
And maybe, just maybe I will have a new trailer by then. Who knows.
 
Ah ok, well yes, it is far from Hamburg.
If you are flying over, it is best to fly to Frankfurt, that is way closer. Just grab a little tent, sleeping bag and such and you are fine.
We have cooking stuff with us and there are two supermarkets there. All will be fine.
And there is at least one food stand at the campsite and several at the expo itself.

12 hour drive for me. If i can sort things this end this might be on
