An exciting announcement today…

From August 20th to 22nd, 2021, the 4×4 adventure show ADVENTURE SOUTHSIDE will start with its long-awaited premiere at Friedrichshafen Fair.

Many exhibitors will present everything that makes the hearts of offroad fans and overlanders beat faster: Four-wheel drive vehicles and accessories, overlanding vehicles, Campervans, off-road trailers, roof tents, camping, outdoor and 4x4 equipment and much more. If the Corona situation allows it, there will be also inspiring workshops, live music, children's program and camping.

Overland Bound will have a booth at the show. Robert and Björn will represent Overland Bound there and we look forward to seeing many guests, interested people and members there. We are looking forward to a good exchange and good conversations. If you want to support us at the booth, you are of course also welcome!

In the meantime, tickets for the show can be purchased online!

Please note: Access to the show and camping is possible only with corresponding proof of negative test result, vaccination or convalescent:
  • Negative test result (not older than 24 hours). Valid tests: PCR test or rapid antigen test or accompanied self-tests under professional supervision with certificate.
  • Proof of convalescent (min. 28 days, max. 6 months).
  • Fully vaccinated (final vaccination must be at least 14 days ago and it must be an EU approved vaccine).
Furthermore contact details must be fully recorded.

A medical mask must be worn while staying indoors (maybe changes until the show starts).

Ticketshop: Tickets

There will also be a box office. But there will certainly be corresponding waiting times because of the registrations/checks.

What is the timeline for the expo regarding overland bound meetup?

There are several camp ticket options available, e.g. 4-day camp from Thursday to Sunday.
How long will you and @Robert OB 33/48 stay?
Just need to know before booking something stupid.

Hi,

As Robert said, we will be there the whole show. Because we have an OB booth there at the outdoor area west.

When will you be there!

Sounds great,

so I will book the max, what means the 4-day ticket from Thursday to Sunday.
If they open more early, I'll able to show up more early.

booking is done!
I'm also happy the meet with you, Björn and other members again.
Way to much time since our last meetup.
 
Who would like to join an unofficial OB camp at the campsite?
Björn and Robert will stay at the booth as far as I know, so it‘s up to us to organise the camp.

I would, guess Robert and Björn will join as well after and during the show.
I also hope we can support both at the booth.

Great! It is possible for exhibitors to stay overnight in their rigs at the booth. But we can certainly walk over to the camp in the evening to have some good conversations!
