Offroad Navigation in Europe

Hi guys and gals!

I live in Austria/Europe and am looking for a good offroad navigation setting for a Jeep Wrangler JK. I like the look of the GARMIN GPSMAP 276Cx. But then I also saw some guys useing an Ipad mini with some app or another as main navigation tool. What are your thought?

I'm just north of you in Germany. I'm running an Ipad mini connected to a garmin inreach mobile GPS unit. I like the inreach because it's 1. highly mobile and can be used as a standalone device. 2. Allows for iridium sat connection for texting anyone in the world. 3. has a dedicated SOS feature. While it needs a separate data plan, 25 USD a month is worth the piece of mind.
