US East Northern VA / MD Monthly Meetups

Nope got it at a yard sale to tune my FireStik but made friends with local ham radio shop and they tuned it for free.
It's free to take for anyone that needs to use it and promises to gift it to someone else that needs it once they're done.

I would love to use it and will pay it forward of course. Here is my number, Ill come grab it tomorrow if that is convenient? Dave: 703-568-0944. Shoot me a text when you can please.

There’s a CB and Ham shop in Woodbridge. Or you could just learn how use this new group tuner for free (then show the rest of us how to use it) lol
He's going to come grab the tuner he's referring to the extra cable you need to use it.

I have a SWR meter. It’s probably not as sophisticated as what Adam posted but it works, and it’s very accurate. I just got it with my CB kit from Rightchannel. I tuned it myself and had a CB shop check it with their equipment-pretty much dead on.

Have the jumper cable as well.

It’s in my Jeep all the time so if someone needs to borrow it, let me know.

I’ll take you up on that! I’m not sure when I’ll be heading to Alexandria but if you find yourself heading west let me know.

Unfortunately it was not to be, it gets power but does not work.....bummer! Adam it was great meeting/chatting with you yesterday and thanks for the thought on your gadget.
Well we have it a shot! I do still like @DRJ's idea of having community access to lesser used equipment etc. We should think more on that. What items could we allow for borrow... Maybe a place online to track everything and who has it.
