Hi Everyone!

I bought my FJ a few years ago, it's a 2011, and started purpose building it to support my usually solo fly fishing trips. The further you can get from the crowds, the scenery is better and so is the fishing!

Recently I've been turned onto the idea of overlanding and through watching copious amounts of Youtube videos I stumbled upon Overland Bound. I listened to a few podcasts and was very impressed with the sense of community so I decided to dive in head first.

I'm hoping overlanding will give me more chances to get out into nature with my family. I'm married with 3 kids (14, 12, 8) and though they are very healthy and active youngsters (we're a sports family) I'd like to get us outside more.

My FJ has a 3" Toytec lift on it with 33" tires.

Viair 300 compressor.

That's about it. My next decisions are about electrical stuff. I have a bunch of lights ready to mount and am intimidated by doing it DIY. At what point do you need a dual batter set up? Luckily I have a really good shop here in Utah that I will likely have do the work. (Moab Outfitters in Lindon). Also thinking about water and gas storage solutions. Any input is welcome!
