OK. Update:
I've been crazy busy lately with some other things but back on this. I see a lot of interest in a summer camp out as well. So I am going to switch gears a little and work on that. Keep your eyes pealed here. The thread name may change or I may create a new thread for it but I have heard you and will work on something more, well, warm... haha.

Ok. I have some ideas floating around in my head. I want to get some of your thoughts on them as far as a summer camp out goes.
1) Lakeside campground. Yah know, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, campfires... That kind of thing
2) Oceanside campground. Sea breeze, surf casting, sand between the toes. Maybe a clambake?
3) In the trees. Maybe do some dispersed camping in the Green Mountain NF or up in the White Mountain NF. Wandering forest roads, campfires

No opinions, huh. Ok... New approach, since I think folks have set this thread on the back burner since it was a fall trip. I'm creating a seperate thread to try to drum up interest in a summer trip.

So I missed this one...

I think option one has more to offer geographically (in NH anyway). And if we are in the White Montains the web address I listed in my previous post here is on top of the options listed.

Plus so much more local seasonal activities!

Green Mountain Nat. Forest is doable from our end, depending on time-frame. It's about 6-7 hours drive. That will be a likely be stopping point for us on the way to Newfoundland... if we make that trip this summer. Will keep an eye on this thread. Maybe it'll work out. Cheers, Walt

Is this event full or do we have an open spot?
I anticipate spots opening up as the date draws near. Also, we are reworking the route to accommodate larger crowd so depending on what we end up with I may expand the number of rigs allowed
