Just wanted to share my progress on my Trailer build.
I went through a lot of websites to get this started and I opted to make it myself:)
Hope you all enjoy and hopefully get inspired to create your own build !

Before pic

And the start of the after pics

Frame all sanded and A few coats of Chassis Saver.

New Leaf Springs

Bed all Tacked up for squaring

Measuring out for the Tailgate placement.

More picks to follow, I have to get the square bar for the Tent mount this week.
I'll post more updates in the thread as I go along, and if it is ok with Michael I will include all the links for the parts as it progresses.
Hope you enjoy !

I can't wait to see the this progress. I need to start looking for a trailer, I can only get so much in the 4Runner with my daughter (80lb Rottie mix) in the back seat.

Looking forward to the finished product. I've been watching for a decent M416 for a few months now. Not a lot available in my area on Craigslist. Hope to find one soon and build it th my liking.

I'm planning one too. You'd think a full size 80 would be enough, but with 4 kids, space runs out fast...

A little more progress .....

Leaf brackets all painted and ready for mounting...

Rims and tires going on next...

Now the next part is mounting the Bed or at least making sure it is all square...

Everything lined up perfect, now the real stuff begins lol.

More to come [emoji16]

Can you find a lot of aftermarket parts?

So far I have been really lucky on my search. I found a website called armyjeepparts.com that has a lot of parts I needed .
Are you doing a similar build ?
