Excellent trailer. I was going to do wood and coat it too but thought diamond plate would be better but maybe now I'm back to wood again. Good job sir!

Not knocking the design, but from experience, you might want to sheath the front leading edge with diamond plate or something similar because on a trip to Alaska, I found that the dust particles will eat right through the paint.

Even a metal gas tank on a vehicle can wear through.

Thanks for the advice, I used Raptor bedliner to cover the trailer.

Should look into timbren axless systems if you havent, they are independent but arent a torsion design. We use them on all our trailer builds and have yet to have a single issue no matter what i drag them over.

I have Timbrens on our trailer and they work great for clearance. Just make sure to repack those wheel bearings every season.

No different then any other bearing setup, maintenance is always key
