US West Mojave Preserve Trail Guardian Event

I can get out there Thursday night, just might be rolling in late.
That is fine, I will put you on the list for Friday.

Thank you

I should be able to get there early. I'm picking up my Ovrlnd camper in Flagstaff that week and still working out the details as I would also like to check out the Grand Canyon since I'll be so close, and I've never been. But I think I could get to Needles or the work location Friday.
Can you be at the Needles camp Thursday night if not I will work out how to get you to the work location near Fort Paiute.

I might be able too. It will be a little late since I’ll be coming from the Grand Canyon that day.

Late is no big deal you will be able to find it easy. We have had people come in at 2 in the morning before

Setting up camp will be easier by popping the camper too!

I’m looking forward to this, the last one was a lot of fun! Unfortunately, I can’t make it Thursday, but I will be at Tom’s Place on Friday. Any hints on the projects we’ll be doing?

Still waiting on the final project list from NPS and MDLT.
We will be finishing the cleanup at the ranch in Cima so that MDLT can transfer that property to NPS.
The roof at Kessler will get done per Mike Keith. ;-)

Got the Friday off work, so I will be there Thursday night at needles to help with the fort Paiute repair.

FYI, this will go out to all that have sent an RSVP.
We will not be fixing the Trail above Fort Paiute, NPS has determined that the job is too big and they will be looking for funds to fix it next year.
In the mean time our Needles group will survey the Mojave road and document any issues found. This is at the request of the Superintendent.

Update;
I will be having the final call with the Mohave Desert Land Trust on Thursday after Bob meets with them on Wednesday. Once we figure out exactly they are looking for we can finalize the plan with NPS.

I am hoping to have the Trail Guardian message out by Sunday October 02. Still waiting on NPS for the final project list.

Bob Brann met with the Mojave Desert Land Trust yesterday to go over the sites they need work on. The ranch in Cima is the number one to finish clearing so that the property can be conveyed to the park in December. Other projects are still being talked about.

I have Fri off so we'll be headed up either Thurs night or Fri day. For those that have been waiting to meet Tonka, we'll be bringing him, and his little sister Bodine.

Awesome, I will send a message to all that are going early once we get the final plan from NPS.
As for Monday we will be traveling the rest of the Mojave Road on Sunday camping at Afton Group campground that night then heading out Monday morning.
Good Kent. Is the event fully booked? I sent a notice of interest out a few weeks ago and since I haven't heard anything I'm assuming you are all booked up?
Thanks,
TW

I didn’t see your message but if your interested just RSVP on the Rally Point. If you have a specific question message me @Kent R

Looking forward to the event and helping out. Hoping to get to the location Thursday night for Friday morning’s run. I’ll advise as soon as my work a schedule is finalized. Happy to help wherever needed on Saturday. Thanks!

Attendee message should go out in the next day or two. Still waiting on information from NPS.

Sorry for the delay

I'm new to all of this, so I need some additional information. Directions to meetup locations for both Thursday and Friday? What equipment do you need to bring for work details? Is this a rain or shine event? Anything else for newbie?
