So, with regard to workshops and courses we will have the 2nd part of our orientation and navigation outdoors workshop with @NotGumby . Thanks for volunteering for this again, Rick.

I would like to have at least one more workshop, please. Who is up for something to contribute? Or who has an idea for a workshop and then we'll see if we can find someone qualified to do it?

A short list from my head of what we have already done in recent years:

So, a little update on the planned workshops at the meetup.

Unfortunately, the second part of the orientation workshop with @NotGumby had to been canceled this year. But we are looking forward to it next year and there are two really good workshops coming up at the meetup this year.

@XC70_OVERLANDER and @B.Kuehn are volunteering to contribute something. Thank you both for your commitment.

There will be a workshop on staying fit on overlanding trips with @B.Kuehn and one on outdoor ethics with @XC70_OVERLANDER .

For those of you who have been at the Spring Meetup before, you know that such workshops and training sessions thrive on participation. So please bring your ideas, questions and suggestions!

Hi Kim and Lone,

Before you pass Göttingen on the A7 motorway, to the east the Harz Mountains are located.

This is a low mountain range with great scenery. You could make a stop there.

@XC70_OVERLANDER @B.Kuehn This is all on your route, maybe you have a tip where to stay a night on the way to our meetup?

Hey you two, we’re probably going to stay near Northeim, maybe at a private airfield. Nothing spectacular though. There’s also an OBI near the autobahn — they tolerate people staying for one night too

We dont really know how far we get on Thursday. I have two childrens and if they are cool, we drive to Ikea. There is enough place to stay and we can definitly have breakfast there together. This is my number 017663184295, jst text me on Thursday.
