Discovered this group and looking to get more insight on how I can pursue my beginner endeavour in overlanding with my current vehicle until I can upgrade later down the road ( see what I did there) I’m currently outfitting my VW Tiggy and myself on budget and very much enjoying each trip even though I am often limited by my vehicles capabilities. Hi, I am Drew from south Louisiana. I have some experience vehicle camping with my last rig a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport S with a DIY truck camper.
I put over 100k miles on it before trading it in for a 2019 T4R TRDpro. I am in the early stages of building the 4Runner but the goal is an overlander for a family of 4.

Experience: Started out kayaking/river camping, backcountry camping, rock climbing, and now Overlanding, all together 7 years. Love the outdoors more then anything and Overlanding allows us to go to remote spots to do adventurous things of whatever sorts.
