Hello Juan, welcome to OB community and glad you are new to overlanding. The camping overnight is not a requirement to hit the trails, meet fellow members, and enjoy the great outdoors. The camping part only comes into play when you decide you want to do some longer trips in the future. Now go hit the trails, meet some folks, help cleanup a trail or two, and have a great time.

Hi Juan!

I am the Bay Area member rep and I can help connect you to meet ups that are happening near you. In Pleasanton CA there is a meet up on the second Sunday’s of the month and it has a great regular turn out and active. The East Bay meet up has a great 2022 lined up and you are invited! Hi everyone! I am Kristine, and I have a 2018 JKU. I am located in LA, and I am currently a college student. I am an outdoor enthusiast , and started my overland experience during the pandemic. I fell in love with just being with my jeep in the middle of nowhere and smell the roses. I used to do tent camping and now I am building my own kitchen and sleeping platform inside my jeep!
