US West Lost Coast Father’s Day Weekend Trip

Few hours before we roll-out. Already up and can't sleep :)

@PapaDave - What is the rendezvous point in Ft.Bragg? I'm planning to start with my son and a friend (just 1 rig) around 12.00 Noon. Our ETA is around 5.00 PM at Ft.Bragg. Will get some sandwich for dinner, ice and fill jerry cans etc, we will be ready by 5.30 PM at Ft. Bragg. HAM is tuned to 146.460

Let me know.

Today is the day! Finally. Couple of details, I think there are 3 rigs meeting me at Denny’s in a Ripon Ca? We roll at 1pm.
Silent Eagle we will radio as we get close

There’s a Safeway right off Hwy 1 in Fort Bragg that we can meet at to join up.

I normally take I-5N to 20w to 101N . Then pick up 20W in Willits to Ft. Bragg then N on 1. It’s a bit longer than going through the bay, but there’s usually much less traffic. It can actually be faster if the Bay Area is jammed. Plenty of easy options for rest rooms, food , and fuel too.

Reached home safe. Thanks for another wonderful and relaxed trip. My son loved driving off road. I cant make it to Bodi. Counting days for plumas trip.

Got home safe. For a first timer, my daughter and I had blast! I learned a lot from this trip and everyone was so cool, friendly and helpful. Seems like we found a new family. Looking forward to the next adventure. Thanks to Overlandbound and many thanks to this group!
