Looking for beginner overland trip in central / southern cali

If you haven't been yet, you're welcome to join me on our annual Sept Mojave Road trip........Going Sept 16-18 (then staying out for a few days afterwards in a cabin).......let me know if you want to tag along. I've taken a few people in 4x2 Tacoma's and 4Runner's out there with me in the past and have always got them through the entire trip......so other than the washed out roads, you should be fine........oh, you Will at the very least need GOOD Tires!!!
