it might be a lame request, but i need a replacement O ring for the dana 44 ARB differential cover dip stick up top. on replacing the diff fluid it looks like a previously over tightened the stick and crushed the O ring.

maybe home depot has the right size or a silicone ring will do?

If you can takeout or have most of the old o-ring any automotive supply shop should have the proper o-ring. Going to the local home improvement store might get you an o- ring, but it needs to be vinyl or resistant to oil as the gear oil will eat the rubber o-ring! Benz.
