Light tower conversion build

Love what you've done. I really like repurposed stuff like this. I just converted an old arrow board trailer they use in construction into a ATV trailer. There's a lot of opportunity for relatively inexpensive gear with a little ingenuity.
I love doing it my way. Anybody can just go buy something. It takes a special mindset to be able to fabricate and keep an open mind. It also helps that I'm cheap, why buy when I can make something for significantly cheaper. Just picked up some steel for my roof rack. Hopefully I dont butcher it too bad. Going into the build with no plan. Just a big pile of steel.

Spent some time building a roof rack last night. Also got the skid/floorpan sealed & bolted down in place. Hoping to find time tomorrow to build a riser for the rack. 20190831_011804.jpegSnapchat-1548563183.jpeg20190830_233911.jpeg

Floor is in, I ended up keeping the 2 end boards easily removable for wiring. I've also had alot of questions about my hitch so here it is. 20190917_191358.jpeg20190916_180549.jpeg

This is pretty neat. Looks to be set up as a mini cargo trailer. Maybe you can use that rear opening for a massive kitchen slide-out.

Amazon order came in with my flush mount led pods, dome lights, but still waiting on my smoked penny lights. Found some nice heavy gauge 7 wire that I'll run for primary power. I'll end up moving my junction box to under the floor for cleanliness. Let the fun times begin. 20190918_212443.jpeg20190919_173643.jpegScreenshot_20190919-174423_Amazon%20Shopping.jpeg

Main harness is installed. Ran all the wiring underneath the floor. I'll clean it up after I install all my marker lights. Reverse light dam near fit perfectly in an old existing hole. 20190921_153134.jpeg20190921_154447.jpeg

I love it when a guy who works in a commercial truck shop does wiring !!!!
Best of products, excellent execution, probably more affordable than anything from an RV center.

Great build, looks incredibly functional. oh Canada !!

Shhh, I didnt pay anything for the entire electrical system. After several years, you tend to acquire alot of random usable products.

Still need a few more lights. Aux lights to mount to the rack and rear marker lights will be installed to the fenders, as well as a dome light with door switches. Built myself a switch box that I'll start wiring. Sitting at just under $1000 cad, and countless hours invested. 20190925_203244.jpeg20190925_203307.jpeg20190925_203533.jpeg20190925_203650.jpeg
