And sadly, the next LR Defender will only be a name on a reskinned eJoke, er, Evoque. Jeep keeps showing the world on how to build rugged vehicles while meeting ever stringent gov requirements. LR seems to refuse to even try...

Oh please don’t take offence. I’m just saying the vehicle looks like a Defender 130 which was a great vehicle.
You are right. Landrover are making all of their new vehicles look the same and I feel that since Ford owned them then TATA. They have have lost direction in their “agricultural beginnings “ their sales prove it.
Because of the width of the jeeps they would be ideal as the replacement for the Landrover’s on British and European farms. And the thin track roads.

Where did you see the pricing? That seems kinda highUltra cool and a bit long at 138+" wheel base. Priced at 50K gas and 60K diesel with options.

It will be interesting to see them in person. We love our 2018 Jl but would love a diesel version!

No MSRP, just estimated in different reviews. I've seen 80K for a decked out diesel.

Naw, it'll never happen. Case in point - Land Rovers lolI like the easter eggs included in it. Shame the build quality on the Auto Show truck I saw looks to still be crap. FCA needs to really take a hard look at getting some quality control on the only two vehicles they build that actually sell. Before too long, even the hardest-core Jeep Fanbois will look elsewhere.
