General question

By "pan" I assume that you mean view? Make sure that your map filters are set to show the types of items that you are interested in and you can then drag the map around to see what is in an area. Little round "icons" will appear on the map for various features - you can poke on those "icons" and a descriptive pane will appear. You might also find that one map view over another shows more dirt roads (e.g. topo vs satellite map). It is entirely possible that your area does not have much to offer so try a few different areas (e.g. something on the W coast) to make sure that you are able to see things as expected. Good luck!

Okay but I know that there is areas that are hiking accessible through the state forest and there is camping areas in the area that are not shown on the hiking or camping areas that are in my area that is not on the map I was going to try to see if I can get an icon for them areas of hiking and camping

Isnt there already hiking and camping icons? Pretty sure I seen them.....
 
Just checked both the app and web maps and they got camping and hiking icons..... Can I help you do something or?
