1994 Stewart & Stevenson M1079 LMTV, AKA BAMM-BAMM.

Over the past 8 months Deb & I have converted our 1994 M1079 into an off road RV that we live in full time.

The cab has changed from being a Spartan plastic & Steel, loud and not very comfortable space to being a very comfortable space. Some of the modifications include:

* Mercedes Benze Sprinter van seats.
* full Redarc Redvision 12 volt system with 330 amp hours of Lithium baby & 200 watts of solar power.
* Air Conditioning
* Garmin Overlander Tread XL navagation
* Yeasu FTM 400 ham Radio
* RV camera system

HABITAT

* Full victron 12 volt system
* 810 amp hours of Battle Born batteries
* 950 watts of solar
* 100 gallons of fresh water
* webasto diesel hot water system
* grey water tanks
* Bed
* Dinette
* Cabinets
* 12 Volt refrigerator
* ect.

* roof rack
* DIY ladders

* off road lighting

Very nice Expedition rig! I have not so fond memories of the jarring effect of an LMTV…when you’re ready to upgrade the seats again, check out the big rig air assist seats…your back will thank you!

I will check them. When we first got this rig it had after market seats that were fairly nice but not for the amount of time we spend in them. We drove across the US to Florida and back on our maiden voyage and they didn’t work, so I found these on Marketplace and so far they are a dream.
