US Southeast Florida Meetup/Meet and Greet

If you were part of this thread earlier and wonder where we went, I started a fresh thread hoping to connect with more of you, there seem to be several in florida.

I just searched the post headline i just gave yoh and nothing came up.

Its sad but i really have to figure out how to use this site
 
ONF is a great place to ride but hunting season and bombing season dictate when to go. They have a great website where we can check the dates. Camping is also an option so for me it’s a great shake down trip.
 
TJ Willie and myself have nearly the whole forest mapped out and have discovered many great camping spots. We usually start planning Rally points in November. When the weather is bearable.
 
We were talking about organizing a poker run through the woods.
 
Yea, we figure it would be a good way to see some interesting areas of the forest without having a caravan of 15 rigs bunched up. Smaller groups = better chance to see bears and other wildlife. Also you can go at your own pace.
 
Has anyone nailed anymore of this meet up down? ONF is about 3.5 hours from me (i'm in Savannah). Never been there so wouldn't mind checking it out and meeting new folks in the process.
 
By the look of the last few posts it looks to me like the interest in meeting Nov 14 weekend has fallen with a thud.
The idea of a poker run a little later in the year (when things cool down a bit more) sounds pretty good.
