Flagpole -to-go seems to work well for sporting events.
I had a meetup in CO - September 2017 - and proudly displayed my OB flag!
I have the small one. Zip tie it to the CB antenna. We were just talking this weekend about getting the medium sized one, in which case it would get strung up on the truck's roof rack as seen above most likely.

While I currently, at the time of posting, don't have a Base Camp flag, I do run dual Harbor Freight flag poles, usually one for flags, and one for antennas.
