There is a guy here in the States that installed an aluminum canopy (with rear double doors) on his Nissan Frontier. Then he build a pop out on one of the rear doors to gain enough length to sleep in it.

Great looking truck! It's so cool and, yet, so weird to me think of these places being, more-or-less, in your backyard and accessible to drive to. Definitely would be great to see some exploration pictures!
