I have not actually built this, but wanted to share it in case others are interested.

Batteries: $250 for 4 3.2v 100A LiFePo4 modules

Add a 4S LiFePo4 BMS for ~$75

Put the whole thing in a case of some kind and you have a 100A battery for about $350.


I'm not related to BatteryHookup in any way. And while I don't need another battery, I'm tempted to build one of these just for fun.

I built a pack for our teardrop using 280ah cells. It's fairly easy to build out if you have the tools to test, charge, etc. Importing the cells and BMS from China I was able to get 260ah of usable battery for under $500. It's worked great the three weekends we've had the camper out.
