Join us for 4 day's of camping at Coyote Flats June 17th-20th 2021
We will take a 24 mile trail out of Bishop Ca.

I have the Gaia GPX for the last time I want up there and stayed near Funnel Lake which had awesome views of anyone is interested. Be prepared for cold nights! Last time I went was July 4th weekend 2019, daytime high was 70s and highs was 30s. I will bring my Solo stove and 45k BTU Mr. Heater that sits on a 20lbs tank.

I’ll be bringing the Mrs. and rug rat on this one!

Also, the OB 805/818 group has been more active and I thought I would invite some of them along since we were talking about a Coyote Flats trip. Hope no one minds. We just finished a trip up at Lake Isabella. A Great group of guys and gals!

Look forward to it!

Any thoughts on location(near water or trees?) or we winging it?

Sorry Kevin I just saw this message. I keep looking at the rally point for added people. But didn't see your post. The final coordinates are where we are planning on camping. It's just below baker lake. It's not a big area. Depending on how many are already up there, more people should be fine. You can call or text me at 9094337605.

We’ll be on the road this time next week! I’m really looking forward to this trip! The weather forecast shows 106 degrees in Lone Pine next Thursday, it’s going to be a warm drive up the 395!

I’ll be running light and Fast this trip. The wife, rugrat, and trailer are gonna be staying behind afterall on this trip.

Weather is looking fairly good and a high pressure stasis rolling in, mean it will be warmer both at night and the day. Shale I bring my Solo Stove for a camp fire pit?(fire restrictions are for 5000ft and below) Propane doesn’t burn as well, but I got that too.

Looking forward to the trip!

If I'm able to leave tomorrow, I'll be at Coyote Valley Road around 11-11:30AM.
If not I'll see you guys up there, I already created the route in GAIA to the GPS points provided and I'll have my radio in channel 16.
