Cheaper substitute for Maxtraxx?

This is the new style, the holes are a lot smaller than on my older ones. I secure them to the rack with the roof rack tie down loops, I have a recovery box that i put on top of the Sand Rails and secure it using the tie down loops, the loops also keep the box from moving side to side.

You sure can, if I had the space I would store them under the rack like the front runner table set up, but my rack has about .5 inch clearance from the roof.

These just arrived from eBay @ $72 shipped. They are study as any track I've handled, are stackable and have a (cheap) bag to throw them in to limit in cab contamination

I’ve got the tred 800s and I’ve been super happy with them. They seem like best compromise between quality/cost.

I use Go Treads, It's what the US military uses for big trucks in sand and have been around since the 90's. Lifetime warranty, made in the USA, great price. Fold up and I use them to level my truck for my roof top tent.

Keep them in a Blue Ride Overland Gear bag, and have been great.
